Internet explorer not updating

Internet Explorer is provided just for backwards compatibility, but probably shouldn't be used unless really required.Any version of Internet Explorer other than version 11 is now obsolete and shouldn't be used.Now if I change the logo, say I update it with a new one, then the browser is supposed to notice that the image is newer than what it has, and update/replace the copy in its cache.
